MANAMA: Bahrain has launched an online employment service in a bid to reach out to jobseekers and streamline recruitment.

Labour Ministry Under-Secretary Sabah Al Dossary yesterday inaugurated the e-recruitment service which will fast-track training and employment of Bahraini jobseekers.

'The new cyber employment service will hopefully reduce the time allocated for recruitment procedures by 80 per cent,' he said. The service is part of government-led efforts to promote automated transactions and streamline procedures.
