200,000 people in Kuwait suffer from obesity |

The Head of the Surgery Department at Al-Sabah Hospital Dr. Mubarak Al-Kandari revealed that there are 200,000 people in Kuwait suffering from obesity and that 40 percent of them need surgical operations. He told the Kuwait News Agency that surgery departments at the Ministry of Health adopted a medical protocol to treat those who suffer from obesity, especially whose ages range between 20 and 60 years. The treatment of each individual will take about one month to execute, which will utilize surgical telescopes |
