Banana walnut cake
Ingredients

2 cups white flour
11/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 spoon salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
3 tbsp sour cream
2 eggs
4 small bananas or 6 large
1/2 cup walnuts

Directions
Mix all the  ingredients except walnut and the banana and make a batter, make sure there are no lumps in the batter.
In a separate bowl blend the bananas
Add the blended bananas to the batter
Finally add the walnuts
Pour the batter in a nonstick baking tray sprinkle the walnuts on the top to get that toasted nut taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake the cake for 1.30 hrs. The baking time may vary according to your oven. To make sure that the cake is fully cooked use a BBQ skewer or a tooth pick to poke the cake. If no batter sticks to the stick then the cake is fully cooked. Make sure to poke the middle and to reach all the way down to the bottom as the mid section tends to take longer to cook. I recommend checking within the first 45mts and then following the process every 20 minutes.
If the Bananas are too sweet reduce the sugar to 1 cup from 11/2 cups.
Let the cake cool for 20 minutes and take it off the baking tray
For added taste the cake can be served with whipped cream
For kids with Nut allergy you can try the same cake without the walnut
