Carrot Halwa

Required 300 Gms of carrot, 250 gms sugar, 400 ml milk, cashew, almond (badam), 50 gms ghee, rasins.
Grate the carrots after peeling off the skin. Heat the ghee in a kadai, add cashew rasins and almond to the heated ghee. fry till golden brown. add the grated carrot. Wait for the carrot to mix and lose its aroma....After a few minutes you will get the smell of ghee, mixed with the carrot. after 5 minutes. add the milk to the pot....keep the fire in low (sim) mode. After the carrot is completely cooked, the ghee will start to surface. Eat hot or cold. Additional taste, add vanila ice cream. Good for a cold or rainy day. happy cooking |
