Cashew chicken

ngredients :
Chicken 1 kg. 15 to 20 Cashewnuts 15 Kashmiri Chillies 1 tbs.Coriander seeds 1/2 tbs. Cumin seeds 8 Pepper 5-6 Lavang 3-4 Dalchini pieces 1 tbs.Poppy Seeds 6 Elaychi 10 flakes garlic 2 inch ginger 4 tbsp. Oil 4 Big Onions 4 Big tomatoes Coriander leaves Salt to taste Method : Cut and wash chicken. Soak cashewnuts and kashmiri chillies for about 5 mts in little water and grind into a fine paste with all other spices. Heat 4tbs. oil in a vessel. Add 4 finely chopped onions and saute till light brown on slow flame. Then add thinly sliced 4 tomatoes in to it and fry for 10 mnts. Add grounded masalas into it and fry again for atleast 10-15 minutues on slow flame. Then add chicken pieces and mix it well. Add little water and keep it on slow flame for about 10 mts. Add salt in between as per taste. Garnish with coriander leaves when it is done. Serve hot with Jeera Rice, Veg.Pulav & Rotis |
