Mutton Brown Stew

Mutton: 1 Kg
Red Chillie powder: 1 Tsp Cumin: 2 Tsp Pepper: 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp Cinnamon: 2 Sticks Cloves: 8 Khus Khus: 1/2 tsp A small ball of tamarind Onion : 6 Garlic: 4 Petals Coriander Leaves: 1 Bunch Mint Leaves few Green Chillies: 7 Ginger: 1 1/2 inch piece Method: Heat a little oil and fry onions till they turn soft and roast all the spices till you get a nice aroma. Grind all these to a fine paste. Heat 2 tablespoon oil or ghee in a vessel and fry half thinly sliced onion till brown add tomato and add the ground masala and fry till oil floats on top. Add mutton and cook till the meat is tender. |
