ASK operates with the approval of the Kuwaiti government and is associated with the U.S. State Department through the Office of Overseas Schools.[5] It has been accredited by the Middle States Association of College and Secondary Schools since 1971[6] and is formally recognized by the Kuwait Ministry of Education.[7] The ASK mission statement is "The American School of Kuwait educates the whole child to become a productive, life-long learner who thinks critically, acts with integrity and is equipped to excel in American higher education." |
