Farwaniya Labor Deparment officials are allegedly refusing to accept and process transactions of expatriates who wish to transfer their residency after completing three years with their current sponsor as stipulated in a decision issued by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr Mohammed Al-Afasi recently, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Reliable sources say the department officials are not giving any reason for refusing such transactions and this has forced many visitors to file complaints against the department. Visitors are sarcastically referring the department as ‘Farwaniya Labor Country’ due to its refusal to abide by Kuwait’s regulations, reported Arab Times |
