HOW TO MAKE LIFE WORTHWHILE
Life, to have meaning, can only come through hard work and effort. It's how life is used that determines ultimate success or failure.
Everyone must have something to strive for, something that brings meaning to their existence. If life is lived in a disorganized fashion where the only goal is the accumulation of wealth and material possessions, then life meaning is wasted. Unfortunately, this is the sole aim of life for many and the results are often disappointment and unfulfilled desires. How many actually take the time to sit down and think about what they want from life? Despite the demands and pressures that society imposes, few people know what it is they want. Even if they know, they feel powerless to achieve it, without any clue of what steps they need to take to reach their goals. Dreaming in general does not bring dreams to life. Those goals must be put on paper. Goal setting is what gives life meaning and defines its purpose. Ideas that are on your mind don't become real unless they are put down where they can be seen and used as a reminder to take those important steps. Life needs to have value. No matter what the goal, as long as it is worthwhile, everyone can develop the skills that make them a better person of value to themselves, their friends, families and the society. |
