Inflation in Kuwait result on external factors mainly - minister |

Commerce and Industry Minister Dr. Ahmad Al-Haroun stressed on Tuesday that the inflation rate in Kuwait was mainly because of external factors.
The minister's speech came during a session at the National Assembly (NA) to discuss the increase of food and construction materials' prices and a report of the parliamentary financial and economic affairs committee on that issue. Al-Haroun said that the inflation rate was not controllable because of the openness of the Kuwaiti market and economy, in addition to several internal factors like the consumers' eating habits and the population's increase. |
