Jobs In Doubt For Over Sixty
KUWAIT CITY, June 14: The General Manpower Affairs Department at the Ministry of Interior has instructed the GCC and Bedoun military personnel, who reached 60 years and more, to sign a pledge for the nonrenewal of their contracts next year, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources. Sources disclosed this procedure will allow the ministry to find a legal way out in case it dismisses any of these military personnel in the future, indicating the continuation of their work at the ministry depends on its actual manpower needs. Sources added the contracts of non-Kuwaiti workers, who reached 60 years old and above, are not renewed automatically every year. Sources said this procedure limits the number of non-Kuwaitis in the police force, especially after the recruitment of young GCC military personnel in view of ending the services of their senior counterparts Source:arabtimesonline http://www.arabtimesonline.com/jobs-in-doubt-for-over-sixty/ |
