MoE HQ construction to cost KD 76 million |

The Ministry of Public Works' second largest construction project is that of the Ministry of Education headquarters, which will cost up to KD 76 million. Assistant Undersecretary for Construction Projects, Engineer Husam Al-Tahous, said yesterday that the new building would include eights sectors, holding offices for 3,647 employees expected to be hired by the year 2015.
The headquarters will consist of administrative offices, a theater with the capacity of 600 seats, meeting rooms, a central library, a cafeteria, waiting rooms, prayer rooms, exhibition halls, and a special occasions hall, besides other facilities, he said. |
