Here are more : 1.The only 2 animals that can see behind itself without turning it's head are: The rabbit and the parrot. 2. A hippopotamus can run faster than a man. 3. A snail can sleep for 3 years! 4. A cat can run about 20 miles per hour when it grows up. 5. A cat uses whiskers to determine if a space is too small to squeeze through. The whiskers act as antennae, helping the animal to judge the precise width of any passage. 6. A cat sees about six times better than a human at night because of the tapetum lucidum, a layer of extra reflecting cells which absorb light. |
