Agony of a foriegn wife.
I dont know howmany indian women have married to foriegn husbands, and i dont know if every women go through same unstable, insecure life as i do.
I have been married to malaysian husband for past 21 years. According malaysian immigration law we can apply for PR(permanent residence status) only after living there for 5 years without leaving country. I applyed after 8 years that too i didnt leave the country. Year 2000 malaysian immigration rejected my application (without any explenation). I re-appealed to home ministry. And the file is still sitting there. Every time I go to putrajaya with heavy heart to ask the status of my PR. But always get the same answer(tungu la) that means 'wait la.
My kids are malaysian citizen. Now after serving as a wife after 21 years, my husband having an affair with other woman. Things are getting bad to worst. I am in a deliemma that should i leave my babies and go back to india? or shall i stay back and take all the ill treatment.?
I am so worried, sad, confused and above all pain of betrayal hard to swallow.
