You will see the museum’s façade adorned with reliefs and statues and has several symbols in it. On the second floor on top of the main entrance, you can find the bust of three renowned artisits-painter Raphel, architect Bramante, and sculptor Phidias. On the floor over the busts, 4 female figurine (Caryatid) prop ups the pediment, representing four forms of classical arts – painting, architecture, music and sculpting.
You can notice the frontage concluding into a sculpture collection, in which you see the art deity sanctifying, the creations of various art structures.
Some of the excellent masterpieces you can admire are the works from renowned painters like Picasso, Edelflt, Scherfbeck, Gallen-Kalella, Gaugin, Van Gogh, etc.

On Tuesday from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm
On Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 20:00pm
On Fridays from 10:00 am to 18:00pm
On Saturdays and Sundays, the museum is opened from 11:00 am to 17:00pm
The museum is closed on Mondays.
Admission fees
For adults the admission tickets is 10 €
For students, pensioners, unemployed, a concession is offered and the admission fees is 8 €
Admission is free for kids, under the age of 18 years.
How to get there
The museum is situated in the hub of Helsinki. It is adjacent to the Central Railway station. It can be easily accessed by all public transport. If you are travelling by bus, then you need to get down at the Railway station square bus stop.
