Bharatiya Sangeetha Sangham is a non-profit charitable organization. Back in 1972, a group of classical music enthusiasts started an informal association to bring to Montreal leading artistes from India to perform. Those who took an active role in organizing and funding these concerts included Kasi Anantha, A. Krishnan, Vijay Mathur, Dr.N.P.V. Nair, Dr.V. Seshadri, Dr.Bobby Srinivasan and Dr.M.N.S. Swamy
