The Stanley Park, Vancouver

Vancouver is the third populous metropolitan city in Canada. It is a wellknown tourist destination having a number of popular tourist spots. The city is famous for its Gardens and parks of which the Stanley park is a very popular one.

Stanley Park

The Stanley Park is ten percent bigger in area when compares to the central park of Newyork and measures half in size in to that of the Richmond Park in London.

The girl in Wet suite statue: Unable to get license to reproduce the Little Mermaids statue of Copenhagen. Elek Imredy built the statue and it was installed in on 9th June 1972.

Harry Jerome statue; The Olympic runner form Vancouver.

The memorial of President Harding: This memorial was built honoring the visit of the US president.

Queen memorial fountain: This place honors the death of Queen Victoria This is situated crossways to the Rowing club.

Shakespeare Monument and Gardens: It is situated in the maintenance yard and houses the plants, which are portrayed in the plays of Bard.

Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre: The public aquarium is spread on an area of roughly 97,000 sq ft (9,000 square meters). In a total of 166 exhibits, it holds water up to water of 2,100,000 imp gal; 2,500,000 US gal (9,500,000 liters) in quantity .

The Pacific Canada Pavilion: is an indoor display located in hub of the Vancouver aquarium. It has a tank of 260,000 liters capacity and houses Strait of Georgia invertebrates and fishes.

Arctic Canada

You can find the Beluga Whales along with other non-living exhibits in this gallery. On October 2009, another new exhibit was inaugurated displaying the arctic fish and invertebrates’ species.

The wild coast

A number of pools greet you at this exterior gallery. Three sea Otters, Three Pacific White-sided Dolphins, and a harbor porpoise are put up on display .Other species that are put-up in rotating display are Steller's Sea Lions, harbor seals, and northern fur seals.


Amazon Rainforest

The Creatures from the Amazon forest such as caimans, snakes, birds, sloths, and fresh water species dwell in this area.

During the winter season from 9:30am-5:00pm.

For seniors of 65 years and above the fees is $16
For Youth in the age group of 13 to 18 years it is $16
For students the fees is $16 Student*
For the kids in between the age groups of 4 to 12 years, the fees is $13
