The Vondel Park is a well-known public park in the city of Amsterdam. The park is situated west of Museumplein and Leidseplein at stadsdeel Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. Film Museum

You can find the movie theater belonging to the Netherlands Film museum, (national museum), situated on a 19 the century pavilion. You will have the privilege of watching films ranging from the nineteenth century silent films to the present day digital productions. Exhibitions, debates, lectures are organized by the museum. In summers you can watch films screened in open air on top of the terrace. During the Film museum Biennial, you can also watch the new films that are refurbished from the archives.

Open air theatre

You can also watch performances like pop music, classical music, musical theatre world music, dance, at the Open air theatre called the Vondelpark Openluchttheater.
