Change of sponsorship
I am just wondering whether someone who is changing his sponsorship from current employer to a new employer is required to go through the medical examination again if yes what are the tests to be done. Also, whether there is a change in the rules regarding this meaning have they changed from 2005 to now.

Highly appreciate the response.

regards,

RE: Change of sponsorship
Sponsorship change doesn't requre medical check up. But some companies ask for a medical check up before joining them (mostly this is done of that company expense).
In addition to the previous rules (i.e., completion of 2 years work with the current employer, sponsorship change fee - 2000, 3000, and 6000 for the first, second and 3rd and onwards), the new regulation is based on the "niqat" - i.e., new sponsor should fall in the "green" or "platinum" category.
Hope this clarifies.
