Does passport renewel cause any change to iqama and driving licence |

Dear all
In my case, I arrived saudi a month ago; recently got the iqama and i about to apply for my driving licence and to open a bank account. During this period, i am in the position to renew my indian passport for further 10 years as the due date is nearing(nearly 7 months) My question is after renewel of passport, does it necassarily to change the iqama for update my data since i will have new passport. If i not do, then is it cause any problem later and also for my licence and bank account. please give me your detailed answer. Thanks in advance. |

Changing your passport doesn't affect any of what you mentioned above. But you will need to do a "data Transfer" (in arabic Naql Al-Ma'aloumat) to the new passport after the new passport has been issued (this is normally done by the sponsor from Jawazat). You will need to give a copy of the new passport to our bank's customer service.
Nothing to do with Eqama and Driving License. |
