Exit reentry instead of Final Exit
|
||
I will be very much thankful if Sir/madam you can reply to my following question please as I am in very worried situation.
I am working in a company as a technical sales engineer. 1- I resigned as per my contract and served my notice period too. However my employer gave me exit re-entry instead of final exit. Now where I stand legally if he doesn’t agree to cancel exit re-entry and to give me Exit? I don’t want myself to be banned from entering in Saudi Arabia. If I take help of labour office how much time as per your experience it will take me to settle this issue considering I have another job offer in a GCC country and don’t want to lose that? 2- If a leave on exit re-entry and decides to come back how much time I will have to wait to enter into Kingdom considering that I have fingerprints with Saudi airport authorities. 3- Can I still travel to work in other GCC countries even with exit re-entry of Saudi Arabia? 4- Most important can I still come to visit Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah on Umrah visa or on business visa considering I have exit re-entry. Sorry for the long writing and number of questions. Please if anyone can help my Id is [email protected] Engr. Naeem |

As Salam Alaekom, Peace & Blessings of Allah Be Upon All !
Thank You for Being a part of this community and sharing this query . 1: According to the recent laws of the saudi govt and the best of my knowledge, the interior ministry had released a notice with regard to all the expats traveling on any exit-reentry visa on going for a final exit wont be entitled to re-enter the kingdom for the next 2 years,if your passport has already been stamped with an exit-reentry visa purposely then it as an evil act by your company as they want you to suffer.I would suggest you to confirm your exit-reentry visa and its time limit , after that it would be in your advantage if you utilize the exit re-entry i'e if u hold a good profession just travel to any neighboring GCC country and return back to the kingdom,Once you are back force your company to stamp an exit visa on your passport,because the cancellation fee for an exit re-entry visa is SR:1000 which ultimately will be deducted from your pocket as your company woudn't pay it for sure.If you file your complaint right now and the labor court grants your request , the fine must be paid either way,so the above option is for your benefit & this is one option that would save you from paying SR:1000 cancellation fine. You have complete legal rights to request for your exit visa ,if your company doesnt entertain your requests again,you must not waste any time & approach the labor office and file your complaint,InshaALLAH legal action will be taken instantly without delay.You may travel and work in any other GCC countries without any problems if you left on an exit/exit-reentry/criminal reasons from the kingdom,as this rule has not yet been implied in the GCC .
