Everything is based on the iqama or visa. It is unlawful if you have mentioned a different profession instead of your actual profession on your iqama.
To change your profession into your actual profession, you need to get an attested degree from the Saudi embassy located in your home country. Ensure that the attested degree is related to your actual profession, To change your profession to engineering, you need to get registered with the Saudi Council of Engineering and then have your degree attested from the Saudi embassy. Once you have the attested degree you need to translate them into Arabic with an approved translator Then your attested degree as well as the translated degree must be stamped by the MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Saudi Arabia Then you need to get a letter of introduction from your employer mentioning your gross salary for each month, name according to the Iqama, date of joining, along with a request to change your profession. Then it has to be attested by the Chamber of Commerce, where your employer is also registered. Then all your documents must be scanned, then visit the Saudi Council of Engineers’ website, fill in the online registered form, and attach all the scanned documents. The documents to be scanned and attached with the registration form are Your Iqama copy, Your Passport copy, Your engineering degree attested by the Saudi Embassy and MOFA, your degree certificated translated copy, Once your application is accepted, your trade can be changed |
