Visit Visa Renewal
|
||
Hi friends,
Today my friend went to passport office to renew his mother-in-law's visit visa after 70 days of her stay in Saudi. As you know well that normally valid duration of stay is 90 days for visit visa. (He was in a feeling that visa is valid for 90 days of stay) However, unfortunately it's been observed only on today that validity of visa was expired after 30 days of her stay, "30 days duration of stay" is mentioned in the stamped visa also. (He's very upset that this was not noticed before by him) Then, authorities advised that renewal is not possible and penalty for illegal stay (70-30=40 days) is SAR 10000. Please can anybody advise on following queries; 1. Is renewal of visa now possible in above situation? 2. If renewal is not possible; then penalty (SAR 10000) is same if she is staying for another 3 - 4 months "Or" there will be more penalty for more days ? Look forward to hear your advices. Many thanks, Rajesh |

Thanks Rashid.
She went back to our home country in the month of April itself by paying SAR 10000. Best regards, Rajesh |
