Plaza de Mina
It is the most fine-looking Cadiz plaza. It is named after the Independence war hero, General Francisco Espoz y Mina. A number of statues are present inside the plaza. The museum of Cadiz is located in this plaza. The museum houses, some of the rare artifacts, right from 3000 year history of Cadiz. It also houses, works done by well-known artist Peter Paul Rubens.
Plaza de San Francisco and San Francisco Church and Convent
This plaza is very adjacent to the Plaza de Mina. The San Francisco church and convent is present in this plaza.
Donana National park
The famous Donana National park is located near Cadiz. UNESCO has declared the national park as a world heritage site. A variety of ecosystems prevails in the park.The parks is the home for thousands of African and European migratory birds, Spanish red deer, fallow deer, European badger, wild boar, Egyptian mongoose and some of the endangered species like Iberian Lynx and Spanish Imperial Eagle.
Some of the other tourist spots are Taveria tower, Admiral House, Roman theatre.
