A splendid home in the North Derbyshire of England is Chatsworth house. It is located at a distance of 9 miles waste of chesterfield and at a distance of 2.5 miles (5.6 km) of Bake well. Chatsworth House is the seat for Duke of Devonshire. It is also the home for his family, family of Cavendish, ever since Bess of Hardwick established at Chatsworth in the year 1549.

The Chatsworth is located on the eastern bank of eh River Derwent. It overlooks the low hill that separates the Wye and Derwent valleys. The house is established on expansive parkland. It is supported by forested, rocky hills mounting to heather moorland and encloses a distinctive collection of invaluable paintings, neoclassical sculptures, Old master drawings, other artifacts and books. For a number of times, Chatsworth has been chosen as the favorite country house in the United Kingdom.

The house boasts of a 101 acre garden, adventure playground and a farmyard. The 2005 film adaptation of ‘Pride and Prejudice” was filmed at eh Chatsworth house. It is also assumed that Jane Austen ahs based her Pemebrley on this spectacular estate.
