Based on the applicant’s nationality and the place of residence, the following documents are required

Passport with minimum three months validity following the date of return and with a minimum of one page left blank. The application should be duly filled with capital letters.

2 color photographs in passport size.

Itinerary copy with letter of acceptance or affirmed reservation letter

Evidence of ample source of support.

Health insurance coverage evidence

Departure arrangement evidence.

Tourism visa

Formal travel or Passport documents recognized by the Schengen nations, with minimum 3 months visa validity, with a page left blank to affix visa sticker.

Application form completely filled in Capital letters.

2 photos in passport size.

Evidence to support the purpose of visit in the shape of official invitation letter from the business associate or the host, hotel booking and provisional ticket bookng, wherever suitable.

Evidence of ample funds and medical insurance may also be essential. Fee (to be paid by postal order, or in cash, or by cheque).

A big self-addressed envelope for recorded delivery or registration is essential for postal application.

Business visa

Correspondence from the boss or if the applicant is self employed, a letter from account ,solicitor, local chamber of commerce or bank manager explaining the reason and the period of the visit. Reference may also be.required.

Time needed for issue of visa

It takes five to fifteen days to get a tourist visa.

It takes a minimum period of two to three months for a student visa.
