Indian School Nizwa is a renowned coeducational institution that was established in the year 1990. In the year 2011, it got relocated to the present premises at Thymsa. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and is approved by the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman.

ISN has pre-primary, middle, secondary, & senior secondary along with the science stream. The school has more than 1000 students with about 50 tutors.
