Linyanti Wetlands are an enormous pristine wilderness area situated in northern portion of Botswana extending from the river of Linyanti or Delta of Okavango. The wetlands are abode to the giant African elephants and other wild animal and plant species.

You will find the wetland covered with reed and papyrus swamps. On the shores of the Linayanti river you can find herds of elephants trumpeting, showering water on their backs, or simply languishing, immersed in waters.

On the broad open grasslands, you will be welcomed by other hosts like wildebeest, zebra, and giraffes, and in the far-away shaded forests, baboons will bark to indicate their presence.

The area also boasts of having the majestic lions, leopards and wild dogs.
