The Riyadh Tamil Sangam also called as RTS is a renowned association in Saudi Arabia. It is a non-profit association committed for the encouragement of Tamil culture & literature.

Some of its goals

• To spread consciousness about the affluence of the Tamil language, its culture among the Tamils residing in Riyadh.
• To educate on how to read and write Tamil language for individuals who did not have the opportunity to learn Tamil.
• The organization also supports young and talented Tamils to present their creative writings.
• It offers a podium for the young writers to showcase their work.
• To create a bigger Tamil group (Gulf Tamil Sangams) by connecting the Tamil sangams in KSA and in the gulf region.

RTS was formed in 2005 with the able support and guidance of the former Indian ambassador to Kuwait, the late Mr. M.O.H. Farook. RTS was created by merging the 5 organization which for more than 2 decades were rendering exceptional service to the Tamil cultural, communal and educational activities.
