In Thailand, the education system comprise of four levels, they are preschool education, primary education, secondary education and higher education
Pre School or kinder garden
This type of education is in the structure of kid care and molding them mentally, physically, in such a way to make them get prepared to face the higher levels in education. The basic principles are taught to the children. The kids are nurtured with good character traits like as how to live in harmony with fellow people, how to speak nicely like ‘Sawasdee’, ‘Khor Tod’ and ‘Khob Khun’. The kids are also trained to be self dependent like they are taught as how to eat without any elder’s assistance, how to do perform artworks such as drawing, painting, dancing exercising, , singing, as well as to write the figures and alphabets in Thai language. Up to three years the children have their education at Kindergarten
Primary Education
It takes up to a period of up to six year for the kids to gain knowledge in the subjects which are prescribed as fundamental courses by the Education Ministry. The basic course comprises of Character Development (So So No), Social Studies (So Po Cho), Occupational Basic Skills (Ko Pho O), Work Experience and English, mathematics, and Thai.
Secondary Education
The Secondary Education is segregated into two levels – lower secondary and upper secondary education
Lower secondary education
After the completion of six year education in primary schools, the students will continue another six year education in secondary schools. In the secondary education, the kids will learn a variety of subjects like English, Thai, science, mathematics, Buddhism, health education, social studies, art and physical education.
Upper Secondary education
This consist of three year of education .During this period the students are made to progress as per their interest and ability and receive the basics either to enable the students to enable them to pursue higher education or to take up employment, by taking up a career that is apt both as a paid worker and entrepreneurs. It also facilitates in inculcating the ethics, morals, the required social skills in students, to practice a profession and lead a peaceful life in the society.
Higher Education
The higher education in Thailand comprises of the lower than bachelor degree stage, bachelor degree level, and the graduate level.
The lower than bachelor degree stage strives to develop the vocational and knowledge skills of the students at the middle stage that comprises of their capability to commence jobs and entrepreneurship expansion.
The Bachelor degree stage strives to encourage the superior level of professional and information in different disciplines, particularly the capability to implement the theories to perform the academic as well as professional growth.
Graduate level focuses on the development of skills and knowledge specialization, stressing on the academic development and brilliance in studies.
