Tourist visa

The following are the documents an applicant needs to submit for his tourist visa to Germany.

A completely filled application along with the necessary declaration.

Your two clear passport size photographs

A valid passport (the passport should have atleast three months validity with attest two blankpages to insert the visa) and a copy of the passport.

A legitimate US resident visa (A, E, F, G, H, I, J, L, O, R type) or a valid US foreign registration card and a copy of it.
Your present bank statement and a copy of it.

From your health insurance, you should obtain a verification letter declaring that there is a minimum $50,000. - (USD) coverage to make trips out of the US, and a copy of the letter.

Your boss’s reference letter.

A proof of your airline reservation, hotel or travel reservation and a copy of it.

Fees for the visa.

Student Visa

A completely filled application along with the necessary declaration.

Two of your photographs in passport size.

A legitimate passport and a copy of it.

Required for US non-citizens: A legitimate US resident visa (A, E, F, G, H, I, J, L, O, R type) or a valid US foreign registration card and a copy of it.

An acceptance letter from the Germany University, Language school or college in which the student is going to study.
