The Victoria Peak, Hong Kong

The Victoria Peak is a popular tourist destination in Hongkong. You can have a panoramic view of the Hong Kong sky line, and its adjoining areas such as Kowloon, renowned Victoria harbor, serene hillsides and the lofty skyscrapers.


You are sure to have a memorable trip to the Victoria Peak by travelling in the Peak Tram. The steel cables drag the peak tram, which scales up to a height of 1200 ft (373 meters). The route is so steep, and you will feel as if the buildings are leaning, while travelling through it.


In view of the heavy inflow to tourists two major shopping malls the Peak Galleria and Peak tower were constructed close to each other.

You can also visit the Victor peak Garden

Victoria Peak garden: This is a Chinese styled garden, which is administered by the department of Luxuries and cultural services. The place also serves as a second home for the Hong Kong Governor. From the Garden you can have a 300m breathtaking view of the beautiful Victoria Park. The Peak Garden is adorned with eye-catching beautiful landscapes.
You can also take a stroll along the Peak circle walk, Victoria or directly go to the Look out at lugard road, where you can have a spectacular view of the harbor.

Getting there

At the Garden road, from t lower peak tram terminus, you can board at the Peak tram (in central 15Cbus form the lay by outside stay ferry, or from the MRT Central station, just walk and depart J2).

From the Exchange square bus terminus, Bus 15 (Exit D at the MTR Hong Kong station).

From the Public Transport Interchange, MTR Hong Kong Station board Green minibus 1.

Operating Hours of Peak Tram

From 7 am to 12 midnight, on Monday to Sunday & on public Holidays)

Frequency: For every 10 to 15 minutes, the tram Departs

Tickets can be purchased from appointed travel agents or from the Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus.
