The Central mall is the biggest shopping mall in the state of Arkansas. It is in the largest mall by surface area. The mall is situated in Fort Smith near Interstate 540. The mall was opened in the year 1971. Dillards, Sears, and J.C. Penney are the major anchors in the shopping mall.

The shopping mall underwent renovation in the year 1999, which comprises of a domed food court; an exterior dining spot, ha can accommodate nearly 350 persons at a time. In the year 2002, a kid’s soft play region was built.

Abercrombie & Fitch: A shopping spot that deals with casual and all American clothing.

Aeropostale: It is a shop that provides a complete selection of top quality, lively men’s and woman’s’ clothes shoes and accessories at convincing values.

Some of the other shops present in the mall include, Bath & Body Works, Bon Worth, Buckle, C & C Market Research, Cellairis, Champs Sports, Diamond Center, Deer Camp, Great American Cookies, Halloween Boutique, etc.
