Dubai prepares new bill, to make the wearing of rear seats belt mandatory.

A now bill has been prepared by the General Department of Traffic of Dubai Police. Once the new bill gets endorsed, the wearing of rear seats belts will be made compulsory.


The new proposal says it is the driver’s prime duty to see that his passenger travelling in the rear seat of his vehicle wear the seat belt, and if they fail to abide the rules, the driver will be held responsible and fined for violation of the rule.


The new proposal has been taken so as to protect the passengers from injuries and casualties in the event of sudden collisions, accidents.


Of recently the Dubai police have found that the kids travelling in rear seats are faced with risk in two folds, as they do not wear the seat belts. The parents are under the wrong impression, travelling in rear set is safe and that they will be protected in case of any unexpected accidents.
